Eric Singer is an undergraduate student working in the Dorn Group for the summer!

Born in Baltimore, MD, Eric is continuing his undergraduate studies at Virginia Tech pursuing a B.S. in Material Science Engineering. He joined the Dorn Research Group in the summer of 2007 and plans to continue with the group throughout his final years at Tech. His career plan is to become a patent agent during the summer of 2009 specializing in nanomaterials. He will then continue on at law school to eventually become a patent attorney. Eric's focus in the group involves alternative processes for synthesis of radioactive isotopes in the production of metallofullerenes.
