Hunter Champion joined the Dorn group in 2007 with a focus in electrochemical characterization of functionalized metallofullerenes.

Hunter was first introduced to VT as a research scholar in May  Aug 2004. The focus of the research was characterizing SAMs electrochemically in respect to metal passivation.

Hunter received his B.S. in Chemistry from Columbus State University (CSU), in Columbus Georgia, under advisors Dr Floyd Jackson and Dr Rajeev Dabke; also with a focus in Electrochemistry.
